The CEMAST Campus is Fareham College’s Centre of Excellence in Engineering, Manufacturing and Advanced Skills Training. CEMAST was opened in 2014 and is a state-of -the art facility for delivering industry-standard training to full time and part-time students as well as providing apprenticeship programmes with their partner companies such as BAE Systems, GE Aviation, CooperVision, Halfords and South Western Railway. We secured a project with main contractor Ascia Construction and are proud to have provided the windows, doors and brise soleil to a new wing of this flagship learning centre.
This project consisted of a new build ground floor wing to the CEMAST campus.
We designed, supplied and installed Technal Dualframe 75Si windows and STII commercial doors.
We also redesigned the brise soleil and solar fins to match the existing solar control elements on the campus, including matching the Campus colours with the striking orange colour match.
During the tender stage, we applied value engineering to ensure our package was within budget, and indeed gave a cost saving. We worked closely with the main contractor to ensure that we kept to programme.
