Part of a flagship development at Woodgate, Pease Pottage, south of Crawley, the new Woodgate Community Hub was constructed as a community-led facility to provide a village store, café and meeting rooms to support local residents and community businesses. The Community Hub, which opened in summer 2022 has become the centre of the new Woodgate development, which includes 619 new homes.
Aluminium Door & Windows are proud to have secured the contract from Thakeham to provide entrance doors and high security fire doors, windows and curtain walling for this important community project. Above the entrance doors and canopy, we installed 5m tall angled glass units lifted by crane to the curtain walling openings providing a light and airy space inside.
We also secured the window and door contract with Thakeham for the new Woodgate Primary Academy. The school was completed and opened in September 2021.
