Lyndhurst Junior School, Portsmouth
Working With: Portsmouth City Council
This major school refurbishment project consisted of the replacement of the Traditional Box Sash Windows. The windows include a variety of configurations in various dimensions, some fitted with Teleflex winding gear for high level opening and some fitted with Folding Cams. To keep the character of this school, Georgian Bars were within the sealed units. To minimise disruption and damage to the fabric of the building, the windows were set within the existing box sash liners and trimmed accordingly to minimise maintenance and decorating.
