This major school refurbishment project included the replacement of existing hardwood windows with around 70 aluminium framed windows, colour matched in RAL 8003 gloss brown to the existing frames. The windows include a variety of configurations in various dimensions, some fitted with Teleflex winding gear for high level opening and obscured fire rated glass. In addition, the project included the removal and replacement of 3 defective lintels and an external aluminium double fire exit door. The installation took 4 weeks to complete, and was primarily carried out during the school Easter break to minimise disruption. The work was completed before the agreed completion date.
